Who we are

MarketGraphs ("we", "us", "our") is a cross-asset macro research platform operated by Aleksei Fedotenkov, based in London, United Kingdom. We operate the website market-graphs.com and its newsletter at market-graphs.com/brief. MarketGraphs is the data controller for personal data collected through these pages.

For questions about this policy or your data, contact hello@market-graphs.com.

What data we collect

When you sign up to the MarketGraphs newsletter:

We may later ask, in the welcome email sequence, an optional single-question segmentation prompt (e.g. self-directed investor / adviser / curious). Answering is optional and editable.

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, third-party analytics scripts, or fingerprinting on /brief. The page uses browser localStorage only to remember UTM tags within a session.

Praxis, site analytics & the MCP connector

When you sign up as a Praxis reader, your email is stored by Beehiiv (as above) and, additionally, on our own server (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany, EU) together with an opaque access token — so that actions you take as a reader (for example requesting a desk seat, or referring a colleague via a shared link) can be attributed to your account. This mapping is retained while you remain a reader and is deleted on request.

Site-wide we run first-party, cookieless analytics: page views are counted with a pseudonymous identifier derived from a daily-rotating hash — your IP address is never stored, no cookie is set, and visits cannot be linked across days. We also log visits by named automated crawlers (search and AI bots) by their user-agent. No third-party analytics scripts run on this site.

The MarketGraphs MCP connector (for AI assistants) authenticates via WorkOS. Each tool call is recorded in an audit log containing the tool name, a one-way SHA-256 hash of the call arguments (the text you type is never stored), and your account identifier — used for security, abuse prevention, and service operation. The connector is read-only and returns historical research data only.

How long we keep it

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Beehiiv and Netlify operate SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure. Access to subscriber data is restricted to authorised personnel (founder only, currently). We do not store passwords or payment information.
